I've always loved the stars at night and even wished upon the odd few...as you do! smile.gif But never really gave much thought to those shooting ones until last year when I was outside my Mum's backgarden watching the shooting stars with my Cousin, we had a great time and caught site of quite a few. Didn't even know anything about them until I saw a program on them saying when to look out for them.

Well, this year, my dear cousin lol has reminded me about them yet again. He has a telescope that he has had for years but it's in the loft ...well this year that's coming out and we are gonna have a right good time at star gazing and sitting out watching for the shooting one's too smile.gif

Not sure if anyone is interested, but different meteor showers happen a lot during each year and they even have their own calender of events and names...so if anyone is interested, here are some dates...

(21 Oct 1.30am)

Leonids 13 - 20 Nov
