I have a TomTom One, given via new company I work for, I have never been so impressed with a piece of kit as this. Many people hate Sat Nav but I love it, maybe mostly cos living in the lakes most places dont have a road name or house number so its proved invaluable, I have also got the Speed Camera alerts and updates on it and the multitude of voices (if you want these just pm me) So normally drive with John Cleese or Ozzy Osbourne giving me driving orders thumb.gif

I have my suspicions as to whether these things are legal or not. The law in this country(UK) states that you can not have a TV viewable to the driver while the car is in motion(I don't mean up to its axles in Sh*)yet I see policemen with video screens in the front of their cars. I am confused. wacko.gif

You have Tom Toms, Sat Nav etc. If it was not for your ages I would say that you are the cradle of civilization. laugha.gif

I have Sat Nav now, got it last week, it's bloody well fab. bouncy1.gif
Not had to really use it a hell of a lot, but have used it a fair bit anyway hehe!

I don't think I have got to the nitty gritty of all of what it can do yet, but it's such a greatt piece of equipment. Love it telling me where to go, sounds very funny smile.gif Great how it tells me in advance and just as you get to the juntion, roundabouts and turns too.

Taking you to nearest places to pee and eat..hehe and nearest petrol station etc etc, sooo handy.

I should never get lost again rock1.gif
But knowing me, anything can happen nerner.gif

Hahaha! Nice one!
Mine is ok, I really do find it so handy..but am dissapointed because the price I payed for it really isn't really worth it for what it is...especially now that I look at other Sat Navs and the price of them and what features they have...compared to mine it's naff.

And why the hell should we have to pay to put updates and other features on it? Aren't they pricey enough in the first place? and then to have to pay more afterwards...that's a rip off I think!
