 Red and all his old buddies (and I do mean old  ) are off this weekend for their annual surfing trip. No women (not the usual one's anyway j/k) no kids, just sloth out and surf their butts off. This year they all have to take something green to celebrate St Patrick's Day. Last year the mum of one of the gang (who are all 40ish) made them all matching board shorts. So cute and daggy! I'm looking forward to 4 days of slack meals and surfing my butt off!  Not to mention sprawling all over the bed, going to sleep with the light on reading, SNORING without being bashed for it. Here's some pics of last years trip. The boys. Ain't they cute? Look out local girls.   Red surfing the Head.  Old Fart Camp.  I know he'll read this before he goes, so have a great time hun. AAllriiight !!...... its finally here...I'm outa here tomorrow Got me boards waxed....ready to go...... Got the lads organized.......  Got the food sorted.....well most of it.....  Got me bag packed......2 pairs of boardshorts,towel,block of wax, mmm ...that ought ta do it......  Got Janey..." the apprentice weather witch"...taking care of the swell etc (Ihope)......... Got the aftersurf muscle relaxents ready.....  Looks like being a great weekend..... Thanks Jackie I'm suure I will I'll see if I can manage to get a few piccies ...maybe even a vid........ Hope you had a great weekend, Wow man i wish i was there with you.
It's was cool at my old house as it was on the beach, getting up in the early hours to open the curtains and see the surf rolling in, man they were great days. Best thing was to see the sun rise when in surfing. It's great when you have friends like you do, a surf trip like that must be so cool. Excelent, Hope to see some pictures soon. All best from Baz |

Nice one Red, sounds like you had a great time mate. It's a great feeling when you get back in from surfing, Sit and look to the waves, Rase your beer and say "heres to you Ahab" ... Done that a few times Red. What a buzz. Will be great to see some pictures mate, nice one Red, glad all went OK |

G'day Bazz ....Ohhh Yeah ...had a blast mate ...took me back to my misspent youth...... ......(without the wahinies of course) The waves could have been a bit bigger ...but when they are that glassy its cool.. I'm not sure ,but I think we call Ahab , Hewey over here in OZ....he's the guy who operates the swell machine out there in the oceans (sorry Janey).......we did raise a few beers to him just the same..
